Questions, answered
in plain language.
These answers explain the public framework. Application-specific scope, timing and pricing are confirmed directly.
Scope and eligibility
What is Progress at Work?
What does the recognition cover?
It covers an employer’s documented learning practice for a stated annual cycle across activity, participation, employee feedback and a forward plan.
Who can enquire?
Employers of different sizes and sectors may enquire. Suitability depends on organizational scope and available evidence, not use of a particular provider.
Is this course or employee accreditation?
No. It is private employer recognition. It does not accredit every course, certify individual employees or guarantee business outcomes.
Records and review
What evidence is expected?
A controlled, indexed set explaining current learning activity, participation context, employee feedback and future planning. The exact form may vary by organization.
Must learning be external?
No. Relevant internal and external learning may be considered when the purpose, delivery and records are clear.
Do we need to share employee names?
Usually the framework can be supported with aggregate or anonymized information. Share only what is necessary and agreed.
What makes evidence strong?
Strong evidence is current, relevant, traceable and connected across the four areas. Volume alone is not a quality measure.
Process and pricing
How do we start?
Use the contact page to create an email draft with basic organizational context. Nothing is sent until you send the message from your own email application.
How long does the process take?
Timing depends on scope, readiness and the agreed review route. It is confirmed directly rather than promised as one universal schedule.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is available on request after the likely organizational scope and next step are understood.
What can delay review?
Mixed review periods, unclear file names, unexplained totals, unnecessary personal data and narratives that do not point to evidence commonly create clarification work.
Badge and renewal
How may recognition be communicated?
Name the recognized organization, use the correct annual cycle and avoid implying individual certification, course accreditation or guaranteed outcomes.
Does recognition expire?
Recognition is annual and time-bound. Current claims must be renewed, updated to an accurate past-tense statement or removed when the period ends.
Is renewal automatic?
No. Renewal is a new review of current-period evidence, with previous material used only as relevant context.
Responsible participation
Does the website collect application data?
The contact form creates a mailto draft on your device. The website does not submit the form to a backend. Your email provider processes information only if you send it.
Must employers use a specific learning provider?
No. The framework is provider-neutral. Relevant internal and external learning may be considered when its purpose and evidence are clear.
